Expecting to see Fennec (Firefox for mobile) on a range of mobile platforms in February, including Android.
I have an HTC Hero and have been very happy with its Safari web browser. Watching some of the videos of Fennec in action, however, I can see this is one Android app that I will have to try.
It’s likely to become the favourite mobile browser for a lot of people, particularly if you use Firefox on your desktop, because the ”weave sync” feature syncs bookmarks, passwords, tabs, and history between mobile and desktop. The app also supports add-ons for customisation of the browsing experience. Nice.
Firefox mobile will be a strong contender for all of those Android tablets that will hit the streets during 2010.
